Liébana Goñi was born in Pamplona (Spain) in 1986. Bachelor of Fine Arts, she specialized in Graphic Design and Art Direction in Interactive Advertising.

 

She has participated in activities related to illustration, quite individually, or as an integral part of the artistic collective Y Peluda. Liébana's works have participated in various exhibitions and her work has been a finalist in the 2017 Euskadi Literature Awards and in the 2021 Bologna Children's Book Fair.

 

In 2015 she published her first illustrated album and, since then, she has been the author and illustrator of several titles such as: 'Zerua gris dago' winner of the 2016 Etxepare Award, 'Más allá. El arte de explorar' and 'Pequeño diccionario sentimental'.

 

Her work is represented by the agencies Spinning Yarn (in the US and Asia) and Tormenta Libros (in Europe) and at present Liébana continues to develop different projects related to art, graphic design and illustration.
